5. MEXICO SIERRA MADRE GOLD-SILVER (5 days)  SOLD OUT

This trip will visit six new operations in the Sierra Madre of Mexico, a growing gold-silver producing province.  Exploration and developments in the past decade have led to the construction of all of these new mines, which together are anticipated to produce on the order of 600,000 oz Au and 15 Moz Ag in 2010.  Trip starts 7pm on Oct. 5th in Chihuahua with an introductory overview, and end in Chihuahua the evening of Oct. 8th.  Registration includes 2 nights lodging in Chihuahua (double occupancy Oct. 5th and Oct. 8th), two nights lodging at mine camps (Oct. 6th and 7th), and all travel from Chihuahua via light plane air taxi.  Participants limited to 10 kilos gear on the light planes.  The trip will visit mines at Mulatos (Alamos Gold Inc.), Dolores (Minefinders Inc.), Pinos Altos (Agnico Eagle Mines Inc.), Ocampo (Gammon Gold Inc.), Palmarejo (Coeur d’Alene Mining), and Sauzal (Goldcorp Inc.).
