7. ABITIBI BELT, ONTARIO – QUEBEC (5 days)

Capacity: Minimum 16 / Maximum 20 participants
This trip will review new geologic understandings and include mine visits in the minerals-rich Abitibi Gold Belt, with past production of over 160 Moz Au. The trip will visit the Timmins, Kirkland Lake, Noranda and the Bousquet - La Ronde Camps. The trip starts the evening of Oct. 6th in Timmins, Ontario, and ends up in Timmins the night of Oct. 10th so that participants can fly out the morning of the 11th from either Rouyn-Noranda or Timmins. Registration includes 5 nights lodging (double occupancy).
