8. SW USA CU PORPHYRY DEPOSITS (4 days)

Capacity: Minimum 12 / Maximum 18 participants

This trip will visit the Saffort District, Bisbee, and Sierrita mines to show examples of classic porphyry Cu deposits, including development of leached cappings and supergene Cu blankets.  The trip will be based in Tucson, Arizona, beginning with an introduction on logistics the evening of Oct. 5th and will finish the evening of Oct. 8th in Tucson.  Registration includes 4 nights lodging (double occupancy).
